Mission SpaceWalker (MSW)

About

In the Artemis era of space exploration, Mission SpaceWalker—a dynamic group of ambitious young women—is dedicated to advancing space research and promoting diversity in the industry. Their notable achievements include an innovative electroadhesive robotics experiment, successfully conducted during a parabolic flight as part of the Canadian Reduced Gravity Experiment Challenge (CAN-RGX). This challenge is organized by Students for the Exploration and Development of Space Canada (SEDS-Canada), in collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA). Additionally, the team undertook the Glacial Analog Project, which focused on obtaining and analyzing water samples from the Athabasca Glacier, supporting Rokaboo and Parks Canada in developing a net-zero lab trailer. Beyond their groundbreaking research, Mission SpaceWalker is committed to inspiring the next generation of women in STEM through impactful outreach events, conferences, and academic publications.
