French Engagement Project

Bienvenue !

Laissez-nous vous introduction au projet d’engagement francophone pour les ingénieuses/ingénieurs de l'Université de l'Alberta. Le projet a été réalisé et développé par le département du ‘Institutional Outreach’ (Sensibilisation Institutionnel), qui fait partie du ‘Engineering Student Society’ (Société d’Étudiants en Génie) à l’Université de l’Alberta.

Le but de ce projet c’est d’encourager les étudiants (qui font partie des programmes du génie à L’Université de l’Alberta) à engager avec la culture francophone/bilingue ici à Edmonton et de promouvoir/faciliter cet engagement. Pour accomplir cette tâche, une banque d’information a été établie. Entre autres documents, vous trouverez de l’information concernant la participation aux activités françaises, des ressources éducatives françaises et d’autres façons à engager avec la culture française en générale. On vous encourage à explorer les documents/dossiers qui suivent ! De plus, n’hésitez pas à contacter jaymen@ualberta.ca si vous avez des questions, des idées, ou des préoccupations.

Si vous êtes francophone depuis votre naissance, francophile, bilingue, amatrice/amateur de la langue, ou n’importe quoi d’autre, on apprécie votre participation et votre engagement avec la culture française.

Let us introduce you to the French engagement project for UofA engineers. This project was developed by the Institutional Outreach program, which is a part of the UofA’s Engineering Student Society (ESS).

The goal of this project is to encourage students (in the UofA’s engineering program) to engage with Francophone/Bilingual culture here in Edmonton, and also to promote/facilitate said engagement. To accomplish these goals, information has been gathered and a sort of database has been established. You will find information regarding French activities, educational resources in French, and many other ways to engage with French culture. We encourage you to explore the resources to follow! Also, please do not hesitate to contact jayman@ualberta.ca if you have any questions, ideas, or concerns.

Whether you are a born Francophone, a Francophile, Bilingual, interested in the language, or anything in between, we appreciate your participation and engagement with French culture.
