About

The Indigenous in STEM Student Association (ISSA) aims to establish an environment wherein Indigenous STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) students can confidently know that their needs are being acknowledged and catered to. Specifically, our mission entails the cultivation of a sense of community and mentorship among club members, the provision of resources to facilitate engagement in leadership endeavors, the promotion of encouragement for prospective students, the establishment of a platform for student tutoring, and the facilitation of peer support to empower success.
