Computer Engineering Club (CompE)
About
The Computer Engineering Club is a dynamic, student-run discipline club that represents Computer Engineering Students. We organize a variety of events and activities designed to foster both personal and professional growth.
Our club hosts a wide range of social events that provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere during a hectic school year. In addition to social activities, the Computer Engineering Club is committed to professional development. We organize numerous professional events, including technical workshops, guest lectures, and panel discussions with industry experts. These events are designed to equip our members with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in the industry. We also represent all CompE students during GEER Week!
Hackathons are a staple of our club's activities, offering students the opportunity to work on real-world problems, develop innovative solutions, and showcase their talents. These events promote creativity and teamwork as well as provide a platform for students to demonstrate their skills to potential employers. So be sure to join us for HackED and HackED Beta.
Networking is another key focus of our club. We host regular networking events where students can interact with alumni and professionals from various sectors of the tech industry. These events are invaluable for building connections that can lead to internships, job opportunities, and mentorship.
Moreover, our club organizes career fairs and tech conferences, giving students direct access to recruiters from leading companies and exposing them to the latest industry trends and technologies. Over the last years we have hosted Aether, a tech-conference and hybrid career fair mash-up and Career++, a career fair geared towards CompE students.
