The University of Alberta Aero Design (Aero Design) is a student engineering group that designs and builds a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) capable of flying by remote control and carrying payload. Our team consists of students from a variety of disciplines that work together to design, finance, and build a new aircraft, from the ground up, every year. Members gain valuable, practical knowledge and experience in computer-aided design (CAD), hands-on construction, control systems, and trade studies such as finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
University of Alberta Aero Design will be at the Engineering Carnival on the following dates: September 12, 2024 (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM), September 13, 2024 (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Come see them for yourselves at table 32!
