GNCTR is the University of Alberta’s longest-running engineering vehicle project group, dominating competition since 1974! Unlike most other project groups, we design and build an entirely new toboggan every year, with a sliding surface made entirely out of concrete. Our annual competition is hosted by a different Canadian city every year, and is attended by universities and technical institutions all across the country.
