About Us

We are Roger (2nd year Environmental) and Arul (2nd year Electrical Co-op). We want your support to be your VP communication, so we can build a more well connected engineering society. A society where there are clear lines of communications and everyone feels supported. We believe we can do so by being your VP Communications. The Engineering Student Society (ESS) is invaluable, but its biggest hindrance is inadequate outreach and marketing. 

Platform

Our main focus, and first goal, as your VP communications would be to streamline the communication lines with the help of social media. We believe that by using these platforms to the fullest extent we can take concrete steps towards creating a helpful community.

This can be done as follows: we not only want to post creative graphic designs on instagram but also post small skits and informative shorts which will allow us to garner more views and in turn spread more awareness for ESS. In addition, we want to increase outreach by developing ESS social media platforms. May it be Tiktok or Youtube.

Our second goal is to enhance the outreach and support for First years. Luckily, the ESS has a wide range of resources to help them. We want to accomplish this goal by having a beginning of the year baked goods giveaway to let first years get to know the ESS.

We believe all these ideas will help connect more students with the ESS, hence increasing interest in the ESS, and inspiring future leaders. So, Vote for us March 5th - 6th! With your support we can make the engineering community a well connected one.
